First Assembly of God, New Rochelle, NY is an affiliate of the General Council of the Assemblies of God in Springfield, MO. Prior to our affiliation, we were known as the Apostolic Faith Church. In 1918, the leaders of the Apostolic Church requested church affiliation with the Assemblies of God and was officially recognized as one of their local Assemblies of God church. Rev. Nigel Hutchinson and his wife, Dionne Hutchinson are the Lead Pastor.

Today, First Assembly of God stands on the corner of Union and Webster — a welcoming, multi-ethnic, and multi-generational church for the whole community. Our vision is to pursue God passionately, pour into people genuinely, and proclaim hope boldly.
Prayer, service and community remains at the heart of who we are. Each Sunday, people of all ages and backgrounds come together to experience God’s presence, be encouraged by His Word, lift their voices in uplifting music, and build lasting friendships in an atmosphere of love and belonging.
